Monitor goes into goes blank right after progress screen

When the desktop should appear when booting up the system, my monitor
goes into stand by and i have to hold down the power button on my
computer to turn off the system. I can get into safe mode and vga mode, i
was able to uninstall the drivers and then boot up normally. After
reinstalling the drivers and booting up, I get the same problem. I
just reformatted to try and fix the problem but when i install the
drivers and restart, the monitor goes into stand by.The issue is a driver confilct i think. I can start up just fine after
uninstalling my drivers in safe mode, but when I install any drivers i
get the black screen. I've tried evrything, I've downgraded my bios,
reformatted, uninstalled drivers,tried 3 different drivers, ect. I've searched all over and Ihaven't seen this problem solved. Please help. It was working 3 weeks

what is the card, post all you system specs

have you been on the graphics card manufacturers web site to see if the have driver updates
 
Are you using a old monitor on a new computer?

It sounds alot like you have your resolution set higer then your monitor can handle.

Try going to safe mode and putting the resoution on 800X600 then try normle windows. Also turn down the hertz to make sure that not to high for your monitor to handle.

ive tried a couple other monitors witht he same problem, its not the refresh rate or res. After uninstalling the drivers in safe mode i can boot up normally. ive tried 3 different drivers. i even downgraded my bios. ihave reformatted like 3 times and even gotten the vga adapter on itsw own irq. still have this problem.
