I have Gateway GT4015E with a Nvidia GeForce 6100 running vista.
My LCD is a 17'' Samsung 713V.
Everything was working perfectly until i updated everything.
I use to have my display running at 1280 X 1020 before the reinstall,
but the second I switched my monitor from 1152 X 864 (thats what loaded as soon as i installed vista again) to 1280 X 1020 the screen when black, and uptop there is a thin line, and when i move the mouse to the top i see the tiny little pointer, and if i scroll to the left corner it flashes blue. (keep in mind my screen is black besides that line.)
I updated to the most recent nvidia drivers, i tried to fix it by going into safe mode but nothing.
any ideas? help!
