monitor problem

hi...

i have monitor lcd samsung syncmaster713n, it have some problem with the display...on the screen there are so many smooth vertical line...that makes the display of my monitor not clear...is there any to remove the line or fix my monitor? or do i need to use a tool to fix it?

When is this problem occurring, with everything, or just particular programs? And when you say smooth vertical lines, you mean like banding?

after log in to windows......yes..it likes banding.....btw my mb is Asus P4SGX-MX n my vga is onboard with the brand SiS 650....
