Monitor Problem!!

I'm having a big problem with my monitor. What is happening is you'll hear a click noise and instatly the monitor flickers a lot. It seems like it's going to explode in my face. Then time to time it will flicker. but the scarry ones happen when you hear a click then the monitor goes crazy. when i mean flicker the monitor screen becomes bigger than wut it can view as if it was turning on and off really quick. Please help me out!!!

What brand/model is the monitor? How old is the monitor?
Jiggle the VGA/signle cable abit and see if the fault occurs when you do it?

It sounds like its degaussing itself. It may just be broken too. No large magnets (stereo speakers) near the monitor?

try running "anti-everything", fullly clean out all the crap and maybe it will help.

I remember my dad telling me a while ago he had to buy a new monitor because his just started sparking at the back and almost caught on fire. Now that I think of it he should have emailed a complaint to the manufacturer so they could maybe recall the model.

I assume this happens even without you doing some res changing activity such as enter/exiting a game?

i'm not sure who made the monitor but it says micronpc.com on it

Save yourself all the scariness and try another monitor, or buy a new one. Shop around a lot (Internet), you may find some nice deals.
