Monitor problem

Hi,
I am using lg lcd 32" as my monitor and tv off course.
I hooked it up with hdmi cable....problem is when my computer is turned on and when i want to watch tv, most of the cable programs are gone or poor quality, I tried to disconnect logitech usb antenna for my keyboard and mouse, no changes..I also tried to disconnect hdmi cable, also no changes, only when I shut the computer down picture on tv is excellent. Is it because comp is too close to tv (about feet away) or what...
Please help me to fix this problem because I would really like to be able to watch tv and heaving my computer on so I can download and seed :))

ASUS Ati Radeon 5670 1gb DDR5 DX11 VGA
 
The problem might be the power source. If all your stuff is plugged into one surge protector then maybe your putting too much stress on that one surge protector or the wall outlet it's plugged into. Try plugging the TV into an outlet on the other side of the room or in another room and see if the problem goes away.
