Monitor Problem

i'm experiencing a problem with a monitor i have. when i turn on the computer the monitor is not turning on as it used to. i doubt that it's the power cable. the monitor is also connected to an onboard graphics card. could the problem be the port on the mainboard or a problem with the monitor it's self?

Double-check all cables, and pins, and reseat the graphics card. If you can try another monitor, do so, to rule out problems. If the old monitor works, your new one is crappy. If the old one doesn't work, then it's a PC issue.
