ok i have tryed everything that i can think of. my daughter was sitting at my computer (not even 2 yet) and i caught her banging on my keyboard. normally this wouldnt be a problem because i have toddler keys installed. but when i looked at my monitor, it was in standby mode (its an lcd so it was changing colors to prevent burn in) i have it hooked up using dvi cord, i couldnt get the monitor to come out of it so i rebooted the computer, now when the windows xp loading screen goes off, it goes into standby. i rebooted again and put it into safemode and it was able come up then, so i reinstalled my video drivers and checked all my other settings, but it still won't come out of standby mode. any suggestions. at this moment im thinking it might be the dvi cable, but could dvi work in vga (ala safe mode) and not in digital mode? any idea's would greatly help.
