monitor problems. no drivers?

I just installed xp on my dell gx 260 that had no OS. I'm using a Sceptre 15" lcd. It will only let me display in 640x480 with 16 colors. I had to find drivers off the dell site for the NIC so I could connect to the internet. But I can't find anything to get the monitor working properly. Anyone have any ideas? thanks.
 
XP should prompt for a driver disk if it doesn't already bring the resolution up to at least 1024x768. Your problem ther sounds more like the lack of working video drivers. Lcds that require drivers usually come with a driver disk. The Sceptre support site would be one place to start for the drivers needed.
