I have been shopping for a mid priced LCD wide screen monitor for some time now and find that I am getting more confused by the hour.
What is confusing to me? The whole WUXGA, WSXGA+, and TFT thing is what I find confusing. (I think WUXGA is better)
Are all LCD monitors TFT?
Many of the LCD computer monitors sold at local BestBuy or Circuit City do not specify if they are WUXGA or WSXGA+. How do I find out?
Perhaps someone would be kind enough to recommend me a monitor. I have been fondness of Samsung, but I will let you decide which to get. Here are my requirements: I am a amature photographer who is currently using Photoshop CS2 so I need a monitor that will be good for photo editing with a high contrast ratio and a high viewing angle. I also enjoy gaming and therefore will require a low ms response time. My budget is no more than $400 U.S dollars and would like a 22 or 24 inch monitor. Perhaps recommend one model for each of the two sizes for me?
Now I know many people will tell me to stay with the CRT monitors. I have two, but limited on space.
