Monitor suddenly gets no signal

I opened the case to clean some dust from the CPU fan and now the monitor receives no signal, the computer seems to start normally and I've checked the cable between monitor and computer as well as the cables connecting to the GPU but none of them are loose, there are no error beeps or anything, anyone know what might be wrong?

Do you have a dedicated video card? Would suggest removing and reinserting it as well as the ram.
