Monitor suggestions for under $250??

Monitor suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Bigger the better, of course. I will be using it for movies/games/work everything (if that is relevant). Much appreciated and thank you in advance.

What resolution? I have a 21.5 Acer and its amazing. Take a look at this one:

I want the best resolution the money can buy of course My video card has both an hdmi and traditional screen plug.

You're gonna want a 1080p. Anything larger and it'll be thousands. What do you mean traditional?

DVI:

DVI and HDMI are digital signals, which will get you the best quality. Difference is HDMI has sound, and the monitor I posted does have speakers, but I doubt they're high quality.

Just look around Newegg for a good rating with 1080p, then go to a local store and compare prices, if you don't want it shipped.
