Ok heres the deal.
I don't know if I'll be getting one, but I wanted to find the best fit for me in case I do.

Heres the basics that I'm looking for:
-monitor for my pc
-has to have a built in tv tuner
-support dvi
-be any where larger than 22inches (widescreen)
-looking for at least a res of 1680x1050, but do the lower resolutions kill quality on say 27in screens?
-would like it to support hdtv and 1080p
-would like speakers to be detachable

I would like price to stay below 700-800.
If the price can stay below 500 that would be great, but I want to keep my options open.

Thanks
Bob

I'm not very knowledgeable on HDTV's but to get one that supports 1080p for that price range will be difficult I "think". 1080i seems to be the magic number around that price range. Because of my lack of knowledge on these tv's I wont make a recommendation. I do have the N2050w http://www.viewsonic.com/products/desktopdisplays/lcdtv/n2050w/ as a secondary monitor and use if for gaming in wide screen as well as have my consoles hooked up to it... I like it. It is 1080i though.
