Monitor Vertical lines

My Compaq Presario FP7317 - LCD 17 inch Flat Panel Monitor has about 20 vertical lines of different colors on it.

Its not the problem with the video card, I've tested the monitor on different computers but its still there.
and its also not caused by bent screen I've checked that too.
Today I opened it up and checked if all the cables inside were connected properly, and cleaned it inside but the lines aren't going away. any ideas on how to fix it?
 
Maybe the vga port (or whatever port you are using) is broken somehow... in this case I think there is very little you can do...
 
Not sure how you've checked for a bent screen. My brother's laptop has this problem right now. Try pressing above and below the lines from the front or back. If they change then it's bent.
