I have never seen anything like this and see no information on solving or even explaining the problem. Here is what I have going on. Ever since I purchased my laptop dating back to the first week I have noticed small green dots on my computer. I have concluded that this may be some hardware issue with my video adapter, an ATI Mobility Radeon x1400 (I have downloaded the drivers from ATI and made several attempts at correcting the problem.) The only way that the problem will correct itself is when I Go to Control Panel>Display>Settings>Advanced>Troubleshoot And turn down the Hardware Acceleration to about halfway, but in doing this it has a negative affect on gaming and other performance. Another thing that happens is that my computer shuts down sometimes and the battery light flashes yellow with the AC plugged in on full battery??? It is a hard shutdown like maybe heat releated??
