monitor won't turn on...

i got my self a new monitor and some new hardware, for the strangest reason this morning i wanted to move my ram stick from one slot to the other, which btw i didn't do and just took it out and put it back in. then i swiched my old usb mouse with a new mouse that uses the mouse socket. after that whenever i try to turn my computer on, the monitor doesn't do anything. i know its not the monitor because i tried by plugging a different one in. i am clueless to what the problem is because it was working fine up until i turned it off and wanted to mess with the ram.

Check and ensure the ram is fully seated. If not take it out and put it back in. Might be a good idea to simply do this anyway. If its not in you should get beeps from your computer. Is it starting do you hear it trying to start up even though you have no video?
 
yea i found out eventually after testing the video card that it was the ram... all i needed to do was move it less than a milimeter in for it to work....:confused:
