If I were looking for a 30"+ sized monitor, which one would be a good one to look at?

I was looking at the SAMSUNG LCD 32" MONITOR FLAT PANEL NEW HD-TV READY 320P but I don't really know.

Can someone explain the features of it?

Like what's HDTV-Ready Television?

And is 1366 x 768 pixels a good resolution?

And stuff like that...

that would be quite awful. there is a reason why a 30" MONITOR costs more than a 30" TELEVISION. now you can interchange the two on occasion, but i personally dont recommend it. especially an SDTV you will get text that is hardly legible, and graphics that are extremely pixelated. i had a 20" LCD TV as a second monitor and i got those results.

that resolution would be good for a 19" WS MONITOR not a TV.

if you insist on it get a real HDTV with good resolution and a good video card with real HD out.

I bought a 32'' HD LCD I use it mainly as a TV. But it has a VGA port and two HDMI ports.

I used VGA a few nights ago, on my 7900gs, amazing quality, and thats just VGA.

And I used 1360 x 768 and it was amazing.

I believe HD ready is a built in HD tuner. Which is what my TV has.

1366 x 768 will be a good resolution for movies and will be fine for games, but it wont work well if your going to be using it to read text or do image editing work.

Computer monitors have much higher resolutions and DPI then LCD TV's. For instance, a 19" widescreen has a resolution of 1440x900. You should look at computer monitors if your using it for a computer.

yeah pretty much, i would hook it up to a high definition tv with the outputs

just think this a 7300le 64mb p to 256 turbocache ran battlefield 2 on a 45inch high def tv.. it was crazy big and awsome lol i coudnt believe such a crappy card could do it but i think it was on its max and the graphics was better bigger on a hd tv also the card was running probably 100%

Common misconception. It only implies that it is able to accept HD digital signals.. in fact most Tv's that state they are "hd ready" do not even have a built in tv tuner. It's a Shady practice.
