what did you guys think was more fun? DOom(the original) or the first Half Life? I've played HL, thats a fun game, but how is Doom, would i still like it today, or should i stick with Doom 3. (I am one who can play any game as long as its good, good or bad graphics)
 
HL had the crossbow which was neato but it also had way too much goddamn story and not enough shooting :P (not to mention when i played it or any of my friends nobody could find the crowbar ... and the fact that enemies dont actually track you by scent ... regardless of what it says on the box :P) .. id go with Doom :D

That's why I stopped playing Multiplayer games (for now at least). It really gets to be a problem when you skip school work to play LoL :rolleyes:

definetly without a doubt the original doom. In my opinion HL1 sucked, but that is me. Doom 2 was a really good game, w/ awsome weapons. But I do have to say, HL2 blows away d3 :)
 
You people do realize Doom3 and HL2 are not quite comparable as they were designed as totally different games...

definetly. SO are you saying Doom would still be fun for me today, or is it a game that was a blast in 1989 or whenever it came out, but would be no where near as fun in light of more recent technological advancements?
 
OMFG, I have the original "the ultimate doom" right in front of me. From the revues of hl I would suggest doom. Its fun if you (like me) remember playing it when you were 5-6 and now pop it back in for good old time. I beat it in 3 hours, but those were some of the best 3 hours of my life.
