More Gigs = longer load times?

I was never sure of the answer of this question, but is it true that The bigger a hard drive the longer it will take to read / load some things off of it? Probably a real noob question, but thanks for any answers. :o
 
Nope.
The only thing that determines how long it takes to load is the drive speed.
Say you have a 7200RPM 80gb drive right now, a 7200RPM 200GB drive would be the same.
 
Hmm.. im not sure about that... on a Pc wizard HDD test, my 3GB, 20GB, and 40GB were faster at reading/writing then my 120GB.. all WDs.
