more video memory

hey,

i have a compaq presario 2100 laptop with integrated graphics. i updated my drivers the other day, and before i did so my max video memory was 64mb, but since i downloaded the drivers, i can bump it up to 128mb. has this happened to anyone else? did i download the wrong driver? somehow this doesnt seem right that it would do that.

i also recently added a 512 stick of memory to my 256 original. could this be the cause? thanks for the help.

i would have thought adding the extra ram would have caused this extra memory to become available. it happens with desktop systems that have onboard graphics so i would assume the same would occur with laptops
