I will get myself a new rig with a Mainboard Elitegroup G31T-M2.
I know, its rather crappy but i cant afford a better one just yet.
Will I be able to overclock with this ? A little ?
Is it worth buying a new CPU cooler for overclocking with this thing ?

Also, how hard is it to change power supplies on computers ?
can you always change it ? or could it be that its fixed to the case and not changeable ?
 
I dont know about OCing, but yes you can change the Power supply from a case. Its very easy, just unscrew the screws on the back of your case and it should slide right out from the inside (assuming everything is unplugged that is)

For the overclocking:
I plan on installing an Arctic Cooling Pro 7 cooler.
Anybody got opinions on it?
 
ECS is a rather poor brand, and I wouldn't recommend it, but ECS has served me well...

Seeing as it's probably a VIA/SiS chipset, go as far as you can. I'd skip that cooler to the Arctic Silver 5.

No VIA or SiS, it's a G31, the mATX version of the P31. Arctic Silver 5 is thermal paste, not a cooler... The Freezer 7 Pro is great for its price!!

And @ OP, get a Gigabyte, MSI, EVGA, or Asus board.

My suggestion... The P35 will OC awesome, X38 exceptionally awesome, so by saying that I assume the P31 must be a pretty good board, too.

Hmm, where'd you find that out? I couldn't find any link :( (or I didn't search hard enough)

Then that would change things alot! I'd recommend the Freezer + AS5 now. P31's are basically P35's, just less memory supportage... Should overclock quite well if the northbridge is too :)
