Most bang for ~500?

So my video card died... and they are refusing to replace it . I need to get a replacement. If im looking to spend less than 500 what is the most speed i can get? Do not consider future upgrades etc... i don't mind sli! Just the best set up i can get for less than 500 status quo.

I would say 2 evga gtx 660's. I have 2 in one of my systems and they are almost as good as a titan. Hope i helped.

Hell if you wanna spend that much get a GTX 680 or a GTX 770.
