what's the most ram a motherboard can handle? assuming you have a 64 bit procc with 64bit os.
i saw a motherboard that could support 8GB, only has 4 slots though. Dont know how thats gonna work out today.
thats pretty impressive.128 gigabytes (GB) of RAM and up to 16 terabytes of virtual memory
Video/Photo editing and anything else that eats up ram (CAD, CADD).yes.. but why someone would put 4Gb of ram i an pc?.. i mean.. befor that is used, the prosessor would be obsolete anyway.![]()
Servers run that much all the time ...r am is funyes.. but why someone would put 4Gb of ram i an pc?..

If your running windows 64bit os, or a 64bit cpu then windows limits you to 128 gigabytes (GB) of RAM and up to 16 terabytes of virtual memory
so its not always board dependent
