Mother Board and Powersupply cable problem.

I just finished putting together my friends comp and it will only turn on when you push on the motherboard power cable(24 pin) with a lot of force. I think it is that the pins aren't long enough to make contact with the cable when the cable is in all the way. If so how do you fix it? If not whats the problem and how do you fix it?

Are you sure the cable is pushed in all the way? You should hear a click when its fully engaged.

If you have to push hard on the 24 pin connector, chances are one of the pins have been pushed up into the connector slightly. Push on the wires back down into the connector to see if that helps.

there really is nothing you can do. i suggest getting a new psu
