hi, my computer's self assembled and i've been using it for about almost a year already. I've been having these occasional problems when i start my computer and my motherboard starts to beep for about 4-5 times then it starts up. and when i take out my speakers or sometimes even usb, my com hangs.
Anyone can help me out with this problem? :(

Need to know what BIOS you have, ie AMI, AWARD etc. This can be seen on bootup.
The beeps are important such as if they are short, long and what number exactly.

Pull apart the computer and re-install the part. Sometimes factory parts they don't install it proply. It's nothing to worry about.

well i've reseated my memory chips and i think right now the beeping problem is gone. But i've start to have another problem.

I don't know if its due to the beep problem or me reseating the memory chips, but my game performance isn't as good. Before these problems, i could play games like assassin's creed and prototype in highest resolution and graphic quality. Now its laggy even in average graphic quality. :(

If you just added new memory, you could have a bad chip. Run memtest on your new memory.
