Hi, I recently bought a Sony Vaio laptop Sve15series. All went well for a while then one day I came from work and the laptop had stopped working. I returned the laptop to the manufacturer as it was still under warranty but I was informed it had water damage and was not under warranty and required me to pay a fee to return without repair (that's another story but in the long run I had my laptop retuned free of charge). However my laptop is currently unrepaired,Im pretty confident in being able to repair it as it seems straight forward enough to replace the motherboard, I have been searching online for a new replacement motherboard but have not been able to find the exact match on the model number. For example I have a sve151E11M but the models online have SVE151D11M as in a letter in the difference.. Would this motherboard be compatible with my model? Also is there anyway to purchase an upgraded version or one that may have better performance as most motherboards online seem to be 2nd hand used items...
