Motherboard compatible with processor

Guys,

I am planning on building my first pc, it's will be a low spec machine. I wish to purchase the following mother, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MSI-G41M-...aptopMotherboards_CPUs_CA&hash=item19d22661db, however i understand the socket type needs to be the same as the processor and also the chipset. From the given link, what will tell me what type of processor will be compatible?

Am i right in saying that the maximum chip set is a Core2Quad and not a pentium 4?

dont go with an MSI MoBo try something good like Gigabyte.

It is more expensive but it is 10 times better than the MSI
One other thing, dont buy computer parts off of ebay. buy them from newegg or microcenter.
you would need an intel i3-i7 processor for the gigabyte board but they arent to expensive.

thanks for the reply, the purpose of having a low spec machine is so that 1. i can learn how to build a standard pc and 2. by purchasing low spec parts if i accidently brake something e.g video card i can always purchase it again. By doing so i can then spec out a better/high performance PC where i know i won't make any mistakes as again, this will be my first time building my very own pc.

So going back to my original post, would the motherboard be compatible with the pentium chip?
