Motherboard-cpu help

If I have a socket 939 motherboard, does all the cpu chips that are socket 939 work with my 939 motherboard? even if its a cheap $60 motherboard, can an Athlon X2 DUAL fit in that motherboard bcause it's a 939? Or do i have to look at more things in a motherboard/cpu?

it has to say it will work with a amd x2 dual core give me a link to it to see if it does.

WHAT !!!! yes all you need to do when you buy that mobo is update the BIOS and it WILL support X2 CPU`s

The BIOS ver : Beta 0523 for that mobo !!!

no it has to say on the motherboard that it supports dualcore cause i think even if you flash the bios it will still only be one cpu cause the motherboard does not support it

My A8N SLi Deluxe board didnt say it was comp with X2 CPU`s
But now ive updated my BIOS it is !!!!
Go back to school KID !

some of them that dont say dualcore may work and some may not work and dont call me stupid and how can i go back to school if i am still in school??
