I am hopefully going to build my first pc this winter after the price drop. I think I have everything picked out except for the motherboard and case. Here is what I got so far:

CPU:

Case: don't know if I will keep this or not

RAM:

PSU:

For the video card, I am going to get an 8800GT. Just don't know which one yet.

I already have a dvd drive. I will probably buy a hard drive but that is no big deal.

The thing I am not sure on is the motherboard. I have no idea. What would be a good motherboard to get? I would like to have SLI.

The computer will be used for playing games like COD4, Crysis, maybe Timeshift and some other ones, also regular stuff like surfing the web, listening to music, and FAH.

I think you may have, for whichever reason, bought things out of order. Usually one picks the CPU, which you have :) , and then secondly the MB. Once that is selected you can then go on to choose your components revolving around the selected MB that's compatible with your chip. Now you may have more boundaries that you would like while selecting a board. Hope this may help for future rigs.
