Hello All I have a problem I'm hoping you can help me with I'm having to replace my Motherboard with a home-built PC and not rely sure of what I'm doing. This is the PC build as it stands now

MSI MPG X570 Gaming PRO Carbon WiFi Motherboard (AMD AM4, DDR4, PCIe 4.0, SATA 6Gb/s, M.2, USB 3.2 Gen 2, AX Wi-Fi 6, HDMI, ATX)

XPG SX8200 Pro 512GB 3D NAND NVMe Gen3x4 PCIe M.2 2280 Solid State Drive R/W 3500/3000MB/s SSD (ASX8200PNP-512GT-C)

CORSAIR RM Series, RM850, 850 Watt, 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply, Microsoft Modern Standby

Windows 10 Home 64 bit / 32 bit | USB Flash Drive | English New

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

MSI GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 8GB GDRR6 256-bit HDMI/DP/USB Ray Tracing Turing Architecture Graphics Card (RTX 2080 VENTUS 8G OC)

Hitachi HUA723030ALA640 3TB Hitachi UltraStar 7K3000 HUA723030ALA640 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive

I was thinking of using this but not sure if it will be the absolute best choice

Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 128GB (4x32GB) DDR4 3000 (PC4-24000) C16 Desktop Memory – Black (CMW128GX4M4D3000C16)
to replace the Motherboard with the same thing will run me $400 and that a little steep for me at the moment so I'm hoping to find something cheaper that will work. I saw this but not sure if it's compatible and it's still a little pricy

MSI MPG X570S Carbon MAX WiFi Gaming Motherboard (ATX, AMD, Socket AM4. DDR4, PCIe 4, CFX, M.2 Slots, Wi-Fi 6E)
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi.

Also, why on the replacement? Do you have a use case for 128G of RAM as well?
