Motherboard issue-Nothing appears on Screen

Hi I recently put in a new Biostar P4M80-M4 motherboard into my old E-Machines 2958 machine which just died on me. I also put in a new PSU, but that isn't the problem now. I installed all the parts into the case. I get the power to come on, the fans start up, the hdd light comes on and then there is nothing that displays up on the screen. I tried moving the ram around to the different slots, but still I can't get even the bios screen to display on the screen. I do not have a graphics card on that system now, but I am just using the onboard graphics that came with the motherboard. I was wondering what I could do to get the system up and running? I still am using the old hard drive from the last motherboard. Could that be the issue? Please help me out if you could!

Thanks

Could be a bad motherboard, bad power supply, incompatible RAM, mobo shorting on the case... Really hundreds of things. This being such a common and rather broad question, I'd suggest searching the forum for similar problems and solutions. Typical it does seem to be related to the case or power supply, but there are so many other things that could be wrong on a basically "new build".

Did you put the standoffs under the board in all the right places and not one where its not suppost to be? Did you plug in the 4 pin CPU power connector?

Hey yes I did put the mobo exactly where it was supposed to go inside the case, but on my laptop there was no place for the 4 CPU power connector just the 20 pin connector.
