motherboard manual help

i have some problems with my computer and im trying to find the error.

i have been looking at the manual and found the linked picture.
it says:
Supports HDMI 1.4a with max.resolution up to 1920x1200 @60hz
Supports DVI with max.resolution up to 1920x1200 @60hz

does that mean that i cant run with higher Hz than 60hz or is it only if i use the onboard graphics card?
i have a GTX 980 in my rig
