Motherboard Max Temps

I've looked all over trying to find somewhere that says the maximum temperatures of motherboards, mine in particular. But I can't even find one site that gives the maximum temperature of any motherboard. So what's up with this? Is there a definite maximum temp for motherboards? If there is where can I find a listing of the temps and maybe a listing of mine.


My motherboard is running at a good temperature (39C idle, 44C load), but I was just looking to see what it's max was, but I was surprised when I couldn't find anything.
 
It's my mobo temp, I use the software that comes with the mobo. It matches with the BIOS as well. I'm not concerned about my temperature because it is an acceptable temperature for a motherboard, I'm just curious as to the maximum temperature of my motherboard, or any for that matter.
 
44 is fine, the max depends on where they put the sensor (and it's probably accurate within 5 degrees)
 
No, you guys aren't understanding me.

You know how they have maximum temperature for a CPU before it fries? Like my processor has a maximum temp of 70C. If it hits that temp it dies.

What is the maximum mobo temperature before it dies?

I hope this is more clear. ;)
 
It still depends on where the sensor is, if it is on the NB it will depend on what chipset you have, it could be elsewhere on the board
 
So, different places on the motherboard have different "frying points"? That is why they don't put an overall maximum temperature. Is this what you are saying?

EDIT: And by the way, how do you know where the mobo temp sensor is? Does it say in the manual?
