Can anyone tell me how to straighten bent pins on a socket 775 motherboard? Is it a major undertaking? The reason I'm asking is because I have seen several mb's on ebay that are for sale,some say they have a few bent pins.

It really depends on how bad they are bent.

I was taking the processor out of my current motherboard, Evga 780i, and dropped the processor on the pins. It bent 3 of them. I used a toothpick and very easy straightened them. The toothpick worked really good.
 
Thank you ScOut, I might just try bidding on one. They do show pic's of the cpu socket,
some of them don't look to bad..
