Motherboard power supply

Hello, recently my switch that turns on my computer broke. I took a switch out of my spare and it worked.

I searched ebay and could only find one person selling them from Hong Kong. What are they actually called? It's the switch at the front of your computer that is attached to the motherboard via 2 pins.

I live in the UK. Does anyone know where I could buy a few of these?

Me personally, I would try fixing it myself. All this switch does is complete a circuit between two pins on the motherboard. Generally, you will not find replacement switches for the front panel power button. Maybe for a really expensive case, but even then its hard.

if you don't care how ghetto it is, just get two leads to stick out of the case(connected to the motherboard header, of course) then just touch the two leads together when you want to turn the computer on

Just go to your local radio shack and buy a momentary switch, then drill a hole in the front of your case and mount the switch with the lead wires from the motherboard soldered to it.
