Motherboard problem?

The computer boots up, but it isn't showing any video. My question is it the motherboard that's causing the problem or something else? It has an on-board video card, so it's the only thing I can think of.

Also .. the DFI LAN Party Ultra-D I have.. does the name have anything to do with an actual LAN? Dumb question, but the name is truly confusing me.

1) The make sure that everything is seated properaly and the ram works...other wise yes the board probaly has something wrong...
2) DFI Lan boards are specificly made for 'extremists' and so on...People who love over clocking and things like that, so yes they are meant for lans and hardcore gaming...mind i'd still take a good ASUS board...though those 12 on board USB ports do look atractive..hmmmmm

That doesnt suprise me...why bother putting crappy onboard video in a board designed for gaming?
