Ok you can see my stats below and im running Windows Xp Home Edition, my problem is that my computer was always working fine, my friends birthday party came up and was having a lan party so all i did was unplug all of my cords in the back of my computer including the power cord, moniter, sound cords, ethernet cord, keyboard, and mouse. i took them all out(nothing on the inside was out) and i brought it to my friends house and hooked it up, nothing at all showed up, my hard drive was spinning, the ethernet card light turned on, processor fan was spinning, none of the bios or anything showed up at all, i unplugged everything and put it back in and still nothing so then i unplugged my moniter cord and hooked my moniter up to his computer to see if it would work and it did on his computer, my hard drive is also good because its on this computer i currently switched to which is a p.o.s lol, the video card is also in this computer and works, if anyone has ANY ideas it would be soooo helpful, please contact me at aim which im always on at RobMan817 or my email which i always check at [email protected] Thank you

Computer Stats
Windows Xp Home Edition
Compaq 5400 US 1.2 GHZ
Nvidia FX5200 128 mb video card
512mb of ram( PC133 SDRAM)
Sound blaster live 24-bit sound card

Since it jut was traveling around, I'd think things might of gotten knocked loose inside. Make sure everything's seated correctly first.

Yep i took everything out and made sure it was ok nothing loose at all then i took an air compressor and blew all of the dust out of my case

Have you had it running at home since? If the case got jarred while moving it around some connection may have only lifted up just enough to cause a problem. It sounds like a simple power connection problem rather then anything else unless your board quit at that time. Recheck all connections.

yep i reconnected everything about 20 times seriously lol, and it hasnt been working at home for about 2 1/2 weeks now

Check the battery on the board. On the last build here the CR2032 was the problem when the system refused to blink an eye one day. It looked just like the board failed until swapping the battery out.
