I Built my computer about 2 years ago and i haven't really had much issues till about a year. MY power supply went out it was a Antec smart power 450w then about a couple months later it went out again. I replaced it (warranty) and i replaced it once more(antec earth watt 500w), after the install the mobo went out so i replaced that to (also under warranty) so now after replacing both the mobo and a new type of psu I'm starting to have the same issues. I manually shut off the computer by the panel button because i was pissed off from it freezing so after trying to start it up again later on it wouldn't start.... :( so i started bashing the button and left. I came back like 4 hours later and the comp was on:confused:

The freezing issues you are having could be related to hard drive or memory problems. Rarely is it motherboard related, unless the BIOS is incompatible with the components you are using. Could also be something wrong with your processor as well, but those usually are pretty straightforward with whether their defective or not. Are you overclocking any?

No im not ocing at all. Maybe i wasn't to clear freezing isnt the issue, its the computer not turning back on when i shut it off. Then randomly turns on later on during the day. At this point i dont want to shut if off because im to worried it wont turn back on.

update.

I got some ram for free so i decided to put it in and figured theres no better time to shut the computer off and see if it will start again. It didnt, now are there anyways of determining what the issue or what is cuasing the issue. Ive also replaced the switch once before( computer wouldnt start so i ordered a new switch)and it worked once or twice then stoped after that. I really apreciate the help guys im a college kid in dier need of assistance.
