Motherboard Question

This question is in reguards of my celeron d processor and my question is, sence my motherboard is an intel motehrboard would it be possible for me to replace the celeron processor on my motherboard with a pentium processor?

if you have the book with that comes with the boards it should say, but what kind of board is it exactly and i will let you know. sometimes you can and sometimes you can't.

its out of a emachines t3990 but im not sure exactly what kind of mobo it is how can i find out?

Most of the time an E-machine is upgradable but will have limitations.
Run SiSandra and check the motherboard icon and it should come up with make and model of your mobo.
