Motherboard Size Vs. Case Size

Maybe this is a really simple question, but I can't find the answer anywhere...

I have a Gateway GT5674 and am looking to get a new motherboard. I noticed that my current motherboard is square in size, can I fit one that is rectangular shaped in my case?

I know it's just the difference between Micro-ATX and ATX, but I can't figure out anywhere to tell me what the case is...
From what it looks like on the inside (http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...bCbDA&esq=1&page=1&ndsp=28&ved=1t:429,r:2,s:0) It looks like there is room for a rectangular, ATX board, but I want to make sure before I pick out a mb I love just to find out I need a new case too. I'm also worried that the Power supply won't clear the processor with an ATX mb. Help?

I appreciate any help, Thanks.

That is a micro atx case and only a micro atx motherboard will fit it. However, I highly recommend buying the midtower atx case and put your motherboard into it as most of the OEM cases like dell, hp, gateway have proprietary case connections to the motherboard. So if you put in a motherboard that you didn't get from gateway, you may not be able to match up the case connections.
