Well I'm getting a new motherboard and It's really the only thing i've never installed or upgraded before I have an E6600 and I am looking to moderately overclock it but I am not sure what to go with . and also If I need to buy anything else with it like sound cards and etc., because I'm putting my intel D945Gcl in another computer? i'm pretty sure sound cards are built in though. Umm I'm looking for a stable gaming motherboard, got about 130-150 dollars to spend If you need to see What will be on the motherboard my specs are below, It will be same build just different MOBO. This site and the people on it have helped me learn so much already about computers Thanks!!!:D Oh yeah and does it have to say vista compatable to work w/vista

thats the one i'm getting then, uh I dont need a floppy disk to flash this motherboard or whatever do I?

Flash the BIOS you mean, No, It comes with software to do it through Windows. I would use updating the BIOS as a last resort though.

You don't need a Floppy Drive to install any drivers for SATA drives either, it picks them up straight away.

okay i'm using A copy of vista that came with my gateway and its only usable with this motherboard so I i'll need a new copy of vista. how do I go about making this work should I just pop the new motherboard in and run my newcopy of vista on startup and everything will be fine? plus I dont see myself needing the home owners version of vista I'll go with the builders (A lot cheaper) but I know I can only use It with on motherboard permenantly, Is builders edition harder to install ?

The OEM edition is exactly the same installer-wise. The only real difference is the nice packaging the retail CD comes with.
