my parents got this to run one of our photo developing machines...its the mobo to run the unit yet ive never seen anythin like this before anyone know wut it might be
CPU Board2.jpg
and i can't give much info on it as the packing slip it came with doesn't really say anythin and i have no idea who the technician was who brought it or how to contact him ill. be grateful for any input!

That's far from an atx or server board there while still using installed ram. You would have to go over it closely to see what information can be found besides the serial number on it. If you can post that information someone may be able to run it down in a search. You won't that at newegg for sure.

If I had to guess, I'd say that's just some random board from some electronic device. NOT a computer. At least not a typical x86 computer. Could be from a printer...or 1000s of other things. I'd really need to look at it in person to have a better idea.

k well if u guys find anything else out tell me but otherwise dont worry about it! thanks for the info! at least i know a little more know lol

Didn't you answer your own question here?

It's got an embedded processor of some sort (24bit I think, going by that last picture). I don't think you'll find anyone here who's seen those before. If you talk to one of the service technicians (your parents hire them to fix the developing machines from time to time don't they?) they might be able to tell you more about it or at least tell you where you can find out more about it.

The last picture showed the 24bit cpu. Upon a closer look the one thing I could point out is that it a certain amount of onboard not installed memory. The slots you see on the board are mainly for power, input, and output to what is the final stage. You won't find online vendors for boards on those too easily.

i see TI in 1 of the pics, think the 2nd, doesnt TI stand 4 Texas Instrument? what did Texas Instrument make back in '86, and thats probrably what the board came out of..

Texas Instruments makes many things they are more known for their TI series calculators but they also do a lot of other electronics and man copyright 1986 thats really freakin old 20 years ago what the heck would have used that lol

its not that old and yes its got texas intruments stuff all over the board the logo is everywhere...yet its made by a company called Sienna in California and it is for the print unit on our old DPU(Digital Processing Unit)
