I'm trying to learn but i can't figure this out... I am buying this motherboard

I want to put Firewire ports on it so i am going to buy a Firewire PCI card. My question is, is there any specific one? How do i know which one to buy if i can at all?

I'm thinking maybe this one if it's compatable?

That card will work fine as long as you will have a free pci slot available.

If you havent already bought the mobo... How many firewire ports will you need? Some mobos come with 1/2 firewire ports already on the mobo without the need for an addon card

The board he is buying doesn't have a firewire bracket with it or integrated firewire ports.

Would you recommend another Motherboard that would go with these specs? I already bought the Case. I would spring for a nicer MB or a more up to date as long as i can use it with those because Im trying to budget at least down to $600
