If I get what your saying you got a new p3 motherboard.... I dont think they sell those brand new anymore.. The new motherboard has to be the right socket for the cpu. What motherboard did you get anyways.

I did'nt just buy it I had it for a while but it was unopen pc chip M701 socket 370. Hey man I paint cars for a living just messing around trying to get it to work.

what do you mean fine until screen get to windows seup then screen go blue with word on it. ?

What does it do when it boots? Does it post, does it find the CD drive and the CD (DVD even :P)

can this be fixed or should i toss it?

persevere!! Don't give in, will be well good once you get it working :D

You changed the motherboard on an existing windows installation and you expect it to boot? That won't happen unless the hardware on the 2 motherboards are the same. You will either need to do a repair install or do a fresh install(preferred) but backup any important data you may need.

Ok the blue screen come up it say's If this is your first time seeing this and have a bunch of 000000 and xxxxxxx it is an error screen but it will recongnize The Hd /cdrom and dvd

Like has been said, backup your data and reinstall windows. You will need to make it boot from CD, not hard drive (just go to bios and change boot device order) then follow what it says. To backup the stuff though, you will probably have to throw your hard drive in another system, find the files that you need to keep and put them on that system, then take the drive back over and then do the format, windows install etc etc etc :)
