Motherboard?

id say its not worth it get a dual core mobo

well Im planning a build within the next few months for my main PC, but this one I already have a case, power supply, NIC, so I was thinking of getting a processor and video card so I could use this as a back up

It doesn't even have an AGP slot, and only supports a P4 or Celeron. It would be a fine system for say, a web/file server, but you're not going to be able to do any gaming on it. If gaming is your main priority, don't spend your money on parts for this system now.

No the most gaming done on it would be emulators, but that is about it. It would mostly be used for internet browsing, online poker games and things like that

Well in that case, it should be fine. Just get a cheap P4 and a PCI video card. Your total cost shouldn't be over $100.
