Motherboards, sockets...

First and foremost, I'm new to this forum, so hi everybody.
I've got a simple question regarding my motherboard, and sockets for computer memory. If it's a stupid question with a blatantly obvious answer, then I'm sorry. I know pretty much nada about this.

All right, so I got this motherboard, namely an Asus Maximus Formula, X38, Socket-755 2xPCI-E / SATA / HD Audio. This means pretty much nothing to me... anyway; when I first built this computer I installed two memory sticks, 2x 1GB Corsair Twinx XMS2-6400 800MHz... you get the idea. Now I'm feeling that these two gigs of RAM isn't enough, and thus I want to get some more. My question is simple: is that possible without having to remove the memory sticks I have already installed? I saw that another two memory sticks of the same brand wouldn't cost that much, and that would pretty much solve my problems.

Any help is appreciated. Oh, and again, this might be a really stupid question and for that I'm sorry.

Yeah it will work, if you can find them just pop in two more of the same make and model. If the voltage and timing are alittle different it will just auto down clock to the slowest pair.

They just go straight in. Make sure the locking tabs are pushed back. Line the key notch up and push straight in. The locking tabs should pop up and lock it in when pushed in all the way. Then just push in on the tabs to make sure they are locked.

Do this with it off and unplugged!
