i guys im guna build my own computer.i have been told to go for a gigabyte or asus motherboard.here are a few motherboards which came to my attension.asus p7p55d-e lx,gigabyte ga-x58a-udr3,ASUS Maximus III GENE ,Asus P6T Intel X58, Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P.which one would u choose.also if someone could give me any info i.e what is compatible with any of these motherboards i would be grateful.i want to buld so i can have a gaming computer,along with the every day tasks of a computer,internet,burning etc.i dont want to be spending megubucks.i have screen.mouse,keyboard,i have a q-tec 550w psu,dont whether tht would work with any of these motherboards.i also have a few cd and dvd drives.thnx guys
 
thats...alot of chipsets and sockets, do you have a cpu brand perfrence? honestly that would narrow things down alot, as well as how much you are willing to spend...and another thing would be wether or not you need SLI/xfire...which honestly to me is a waste of time and money, second card is sitting idle here unless im folding...

-need more information...
 
hi there,dont really have a cpu preference,my budget is around the 400 to 500 pound mark.i do have a few thinggs ie monitor,mouse,keyboard,few cd and dvd drives.thnx
