mounting for new power supply

My Extremo 550 power suppply quit working. I went online, located PC Power and cooling, and bought a new silencer 610 power supply. When it arrived I discovered the mounting holes in the back of the case do not match the cabinet. Is there some kind of mounting bracket I can get to mount it?

Not tryin to be a smart ass but you dont have it upside down do you?

maybe you didnt get an ATX PSU,.. or your case isnt ATX

I was thinking there might be special sizes/shapes for different manufacturers and I may have received the wrong part. If that's the case just manufacturing myself an adapter bracket might not solve the problem and I'd have to return the supply to the factory. If some of you folks have a lot of experience putting together computers you might know if this could happen.

Like i said, there are some standarf form factors for cases and PSU's,.. The most common one is ATX. and if you have for example an ATX case,. and you buy a PSU ( in ATX form factor ), it doesnt matter what brand it is, because it will fit.
