Mouse acting up intermittently

I have had my wireless mouse a year now, it has served me well but is just starting to act up intermittently. I don't think it is due to interference as the mouse is 2.4GHz, our cordless phone is 5.8GHz and we don't have wifi. Suggestions?

That's the best place to start. I also had more luck with mine when I moved the receiver closer to the mouse (you may need a USB extention cable to do this). Also try to move anything that may be blocking Line of Sight between the mouse and receiver.
 
your pretty lucky tho....i had a wirless mouse but i am sure there was an extreme fault with it lol! a set of AA battaries would last around 3 days, and u said u have had urs for around a year! wow lol.

i gave up with that mouse tho and bought a cheap 10 pound labtec 1.....and to be honest it is a great mouse, does the job for gamming and all =]
 
i have to replace my batts about every 6 months actually, usually they just totally die tho instead of giving tracking errors.
 
that's why you stay out of wireless. I brought one and I end up returning it. It a laser mouse with string its better than those wireless sh**
