Mouse and Keyboard keeps freezing

Hey i have windows xp and radeon 9550 and a wireless logitech and wired mouse and most recently i have been having trouble with my mouse and keyboard...the first thing is that from my speaker i hear this little static and then my mouse and keyboard wont respond but in the screen i see the cursor blinking and people moving around in online games but it just seems to be my mouse and keyboard thats having problems not responding please help

^ If you mean overheating I think he'll be experiencing more of auto shutdowns and restarts.

Try another mouse or keyboard, or USB ones. Or.. lags?
