Mouse curser won't move

Never had this problem before.
I got a lvl 10 thermaltake gaming mouse for xmas.
So far it has worked ok.Today for some reason I am unable to move the curser.
If I right click the menu option for the desktop pops up so it's connected.
If I plug in my old mouse it works.
I did a system restore changed usb holes but still nothing.
I tried doing driver updates but nothing.
Any ideas appreciated.

I would try to navigate your way into Device Manager and uninstall whatever driver that's being used. Not just updating.
Pro tips: Use tab to move around, space to expand the menus and enter to select something. Space can also be used to select things.

Was in there only not sure where it is .
Mouse and pointing devices"
Two are listed as HID-compliant mouse,In propertys one is listed as the old death adder and other other Microsoft. My mouse is thermaltake so I don't see it.
Above in human interface devices I see the death adder,my keyboared but not the mouse I have.

Remove all drivers for any mouse.
Restart
Go into Device manager and uninstall (right click) on all USB hubs - windows will automatically reinstall.
Restart
Install the latest software for your mouse.
